It is possible. Since the Kayak API is an HTTP protocol, it can be used in any language that can act as an HTTP client, including PHP.

If you need API support, you should use the kayak feedback mechanism.

http://www.kayak.com/feedback

There is nothing to download, all that you need is in the documentation at http://www.kayak.com/labs

This is not an appropriate channel for kayak API support. Please use the existing kayak feedback mechanism for specific questions.

The final answer for PHP is this: the kayak API will work with with PHP, but you need to write the PHP code. There is no PHP code you can paste into a web page. If you don't know how to write a web client in PHP, then you can't use the kayak API. Sorry.
